Join us as we host our 3rd annual 5K Recovery Run on June 1st, 2024. Every dollar raised by this event supports basic needs and educational opportunities for the 70+ students at Red Barn Academy. Whether you run, sponsor, or donate, every little bit helps us bridge the gap and support the $53,273 average cost of recovery per student!

This event is more than just running to combat addiction. We want to help bring recovery centers and the Utah community together to network and connect. Awareness of a solution is half of the battle, and there are so many wonderful solutions in Utah. We are offering free booths to recovery centers.

The event will be held at our campus, in the parking lot that we share with the Arbinger Institute. The 5K is a run/walk. The route starts and ends at our campus and goes around beautiful Farmington. HOKA will be here with their HOKA experience tent. There will be lots of fabulous booths from our sponsors and recovery partners. Come and get connected with the Utah recovery community!

We wouldn’t be able to continue on our mission of saving and reinventing lives if it weren’t for the support of the community – all at NO cost to the student, their family, or the taxpayer. Since 2017 we have provided over 91,000 “Sober-Safe Days.” These days are defined by 3 meals a day, life-skills training, and a safe place to sleep. Thank you for believing in our mission.

A vital part of my recovery

“I have been attending activities and many other groups at Red Barn Farms for almost 2 years. This has been a vital part of my recovery and the amazing life I now enjoy. Amazing staff that are always willing to help in any way possible. Thanks for being a part of my recovery.”

- Sue Jones

Truly does save lives and families

“Red Barn Farms and Red Barn Academy is a great example of a therapeutic community that truly does save lives and families. I have several family members who struggle with substance abuse issues, and lost my sister to a drug overdose last year. This is the first program I have seen that offers the right support people need to recover. As a community, we need to bind together to support their efforts so that they can expand and serve more men and women who deserve the opportunity to be their best self and for their families to be whole.”

- Marcie V.
