Rich Haws

“Co-Founder of Red Barn Farms, the original donor of the Farm and Red Barn Chicken to the Foundation. The Haws family roots go back over 100 years to Farmington, with Rich’s grandfather graduating from Davis High School. The Serendipitous introduction to the Richards Family and the famous Jersey Dairy Farm led to the assemblage of 8 contiguous farms that is now part of what is known as Farmington Station and Park Lane Commons. A graduate of Utah State University, Rich passed on a career in basketball to complete a master’s degree in economics. Rich pursued an entrepreneurial career covering 40+ years of business and relationships that have been invaluable. He and Krista raised a family of 6. After the passing of Dustin and then the loss of Krista, Rich married Stephanie Malmrose (another SEF) where they together share 25 grandchildren.

A vital part of my recovery

“I have been attending activities and many other groups at Red Barn Farms for almost 2 years. This has been a vital part of my recovery and the amazing life I now enjoy. Amazing staff that are always willing to help in any way possible. Thanks for being a part of my recovery.”

Truly does save lives and families

“Red Barn Farms and Red Barn Academy is a great example of a therapeutic community that truly does save lives and families. I have several family members who struggle with substance abuse issues, and lost my sister to a drug overdose last year. This is the first program I have seen that offers the right support people need to recover. As a community, we need to bind together to support their efforts so that they can expand and serve more men and women who deserve the opportunity to be their best self and for their families to be whole.”
