2024 Angel Tree Highlights
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you who contributed to making this Christmas truly special for the 84 men at Red Barn Academy. Your generosity and support brought the magic of the season to life, filling our home with joy, hope, and the spirit of giving.
Because of you, 84 men in recovery experienced a holiday they will never forget. For many of them, it was the first time in years they felt the warmth of love and community that makes Christmas so meaningful. Your kindness has left a lasting impact, reminding them that they are cared for and that brighter days are ahead.
Holidays can be an incredibly challenging time of year, especially for those in recovery. For many of our students, past Christmases bring difficult memories that lay dormant, waiting to resurface. But because of you, this year was different. You helped replace those old memories with new, positive ones, creating experiences that contribute to lasting change. Together, we’re making a difference that extends far beyond the holiday season.
Between the thoughtful gifts shopped for in person, through Amazon, and the generous monetary contributions, we were able to create a truly special Christmas morning for our 84 students. None of this would have been possible without your kindness and support!
Beyond Christmas morning, your generosity allowed us to make this entire holiday season unforgettable. Highlights included attending the Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert, caroling for our elderly neighbors at Legacy House, decorating our campus with lights and trees, viewing Christmas lights in South Jordan, sharing a Christmas movie night, distributing coats, hygiene, and food to the homeless on Christmas morning, and hosting our annual Christmas Eve pageant complete with skits.
